POLIGRAFICA C.A is a printing/graphic industry founded
in Guayaquil in 1977, it started with enthusiasm and
success desires that any young enterprises has at that
moments, but with the characteristic of multiplying
it as it grew achieving its goals.
It started with a Solna 125 press,
4 employees. Later
it moved to a larger and actual building, with an additional
Solda 225 press, a Polar 76 EM guillotine and a typographic
equipment for dies and check numbering.
During
1988, Poligrafica expands its installations in
three buildings and organizes its Administration,
Sales, Art, Photo mechanic departments. It
counts with laser printers, scanners, text compose
and a computerized red for quotations, invoices,
accounting and inventory.
At this time, in Ecuador, Poligrafica is already
known as a serious and proffesional company for its
high quality standards. A new division of continuing
forms is created, Poliformas, with the adquisition
of a four colour Harris, first on one in the
country, a collector and a complete roll of paper cutter. Another
ambitious project made reality.
In
1991, two additional storage spaces were built. One
for paper bobbins and another for raw material
of great volume and as a additional space for the
Offset and Typographic plants. Two five color Heidelberg
printers were purchased along with a Polar 115
EM guillotine, which allow us to count with the
best and most modern printing systems nationwide.
This same year, Poliformas purchased one color printer
multiple Harris for 22” , and 3 colour for 17” with
a collector.
Following with the modernization process of our industrial
plant, in 2001 Poligrafica negotiates a new machinery
breaking all schemes among the graphic printers of
the country, and parchases a new tour color printer
Heidelberg Speed master CD 102-4LX with an additional
water varnish unit, that will improve the high volume
runs, as well as the optimization of big formats.
At this time, due to the high quality standards and
its seriousness, Poligrafica gains the trust of the
main banks, finance companies and industries of the
country and creates the Security Division broaden the
services to our clients with the printing of checks,
stock holder certificates, titles and any type of security
prints.
Our policy and vision to the future has always been
focused to the continuous improvement, purchasing
of modern machinery as well as the implementation
of new Technologies in order to maintain at the vanguard
of the market demands.
